Serious works

This was a commission work for a person who wanted a logo for his media company. This was to be shown before videos and their Youtube page. He had some sketches and ideas already to show so creative and design part went very smoothly. I'm pretty happy with this and I was happy to hear that he was also happy with this.
This was a Preliminary tasks for entrance a Metropolia entrance exam. The assignment was to create 2 characters using packaging as a theme. I'm really happy how I managed to capture softness for both of them. The second part could still use a little more work though.

This was another commission from the person who wanted a logo for its media company. They were making a short movie and audio book about loneliness in post-apocalyptic world. I'm pretty happy with how I managed to draw Helsinki environment.
I was told by one of my friends that he had a band who was looking for someone to animate a music video for them, I got in contact with them and I was asked to do an example animation. They gave some material and ideas to follow, they had their own mascot character which you can see here.
After presenting this they were disappointed to my surprise. They wanted something more animated and detailed work, and they weren't offering any compensation except exposure. So regrettably I had to turn down their offer, at least this small animation is presentable.

I designed and drew the necessary wedding invitation cards for my big sister. These are a bit different in themes I usually draw so it is a notable work. I think I managed to make a nice soft feeling with the colouring and the fluffiness. They were pretty taken on how different this work felt to my previous works. To my dismay I always felt that my skill in illustration to draw any theme was clear.

I really wanted to surprise my good friend and I decided to make a 1/1 sized Dakimakura (Japanese hug pillow) out off a character he created for his own game project. I drew the pictures and inquired with a printing company that specialises in fabric printing. The picture was printed inside the fabric so the image quality is excellent and wash proof. Only downside was that I didn't have the foresight having to order one for myself as well. Needless to say, my friend was left speechless from the surprise and quality.

This was a commission work, its a birthday invitation. The person wanted something funky, so I gave him pop.Inspiration was from invitation cards I sometimes received from art galleries. They were always perfect square shaped with a picture of one of the works being shown, and in the back of the card they label the artist with a small font in the corner.
